We just signed the contract on our first house!! The process has been grueling and frustrating, but we stuck to our guns and got the reward in the end. We started looking about a month ago and found this house on the first day. After seeing some more houses and taking our parents for a second look we decided to put an offer on it. A couple of days later we found out that the seller couldn't afford to sell. She was financially strapped and struggling. She was not moving at all on the offer, so we gave her our final price. After some more negotiations she told us that she was having another showing and would not let us know anything until after this showing. Needless to say, we felt used and very frustrated. Fortunately, no offer came from that other showing and our agent told us that she was going to accept our offer. We didn't hear anything when they said we should so we were prepared to walk away. We waited for two more days until finally the acceptance contract came through! This is our perfect starter house and is located three houses down from one of the couples in our E-group at church. It is 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. The neighborhood is so cute and convenient to many of the things we like to have close like the YMCA, church, and our families. Our closing date is March 31 and we can't wait to move in and make it our own!!! After we move in and get everything situated I will post some more pictures!!
